About this scholarship

Currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students who will serve in an unpaid, full-time public service internship for at least eight weeks or 320 hours during the summer may apply for a CAPAL Public Service Scholarship.

The award is $3,000. U.S. citizenship is not required. Scholars secure their own internship and must also complete CAPAL programming. Apply with a personal statement, resume, transcript, and letter of recommendation.
