Canadian Society for Asian Arts – Honos Foundation Scholarship

An outstanding UBC Vancouver M.A. or Ph.D. student in the Department of Art History, Visual Art and Theory who is focusing on Asian art may be considered for this scholarship.

The scholarship provides $2,000 annually, funded through a gift from the Canadian Society for Asian Arts and the Honos Foundation.

Recipients are recommended by the Department of Art History, Visual Art and Theory in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. There is no separate student application.

The Canadian Society for Asian Arts was founded in 1969 to promote the understanding and appreciation of the arts of Asia. This scholarship was established to support the study of Asian art on a pan-Asian basis, reflecting the rich diversity of cultures and art.
