Canada Graduate Research Scholarship-Doctoral (CGRS-D) Program

Canadian citizens, permanent residents, protected persons, and (where program rules allow) international doctoral students enrolled at an eligible Canadian institution can apply for the Canada Graduate Research Scholarship-Doctoral (CGRS-D) program, administered by CIHR, NSERC, and SSHRC.

The award is valued at $40,000 per year for 36 months.

The scholarship supports high-quality doctoral research training across natural sciences and engineering, health, and social sciences and humanities.
