CalViva Health partners with Fresno State to fund scholarships for students preparing for health care careers in the Central Valley. Recipients must be enrolled full time, qualify for state and federal financial aid, maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher, and pursue a major in a health care field such as nursing, public health, or psychology. CalViva has committed $100,000 annually, supporting about 20 students each year who often remain in Fresno, Kings, and Madera counties after graduation.
