About this scholarship
The Calhoun Scholarship is a merit award for incoming first-year students in the Virginia Tech Honors College. Students apply through the single Honors College General Scholarship application available in Scholarship Central, and the Honors College determines recipients for each named fund. Applications open September 15 and close January 7 each cycle. Early Action admission by November 15 is strongly recommended to gain timely access to recruitment scholarships. An individual student may not receive more than one Honors College recruitment scholarship.
