About this scholarship
Open to a student entering third or fourth year in the Department of Metals and Materials Engineering at UBC Vancouver who has demonstrated leadership and active participation in departmental activities.
An award of $350 has been endowed in honour of Professor C. S. Samis, who retired from the Department of Metallurgy in 1977.
Recipients are selected on the recommendation of the Department of Materials Engineering. There is no separate application.
