C. L. Wang Memorial Scholarship

Open to a graduate student from the People's Republic of China at UBC, with preference given to a student in Commerce and Business Administration, Engineering, or Medicine.

The award is a $1,350 scholarship endowed in memory of C.L. Wang (Wang Chang-Lin, 1902-1989) by family and friends.

No separate application is required. The Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies recommends recipients.

Wang studied economics at the University of Chicago and had a long career in banking in China before retiring in 1964.
