C. Bertrand and Marian Othmer Schultz Collegiate Scholarship

Nebraska college juniors or seniors enrolled at an accredited Nebraska institution with a declared natural-science major (chemistry, physics, biology, or geology) who anticipate careers in science industry, teaching, or research may apply to the Nebraska Academy of Sciences.

One $1,500 award is offered; renewals are reviewed case by case and are not automatic.

Submit the online application with transcripts, a complete list of science courses, a career essay, a science faculty recommendation, and a NAS member recommendation by March 1. The scholarship honors C. Bertrand and Marian Othmer Schultz.
