C A Rowles Alumni Scholarship

Open to the top third-year Soil Science student at UBC who will continue to completion of the B.Sc. degree majoring in Soil Science.

A $4,800 scholarship awarded on department recommendation; no separate application. The recipient may use the award to broaden their education through field studies, conference travel, educational materials, or scientific society membership.

Established by alumni of the Department of Soil Science to honour Dr. C.A. Rowles, Professor and Head of Soil Science from 1946 to 1980.
