About this scholarship
The Building Bridges Undergraduate Summer Research Experience at Loyola University Chicago immerses early-career undergraduates in a four-week faculty-mentored research program the summer after freshman or sophomore year. Each recipient receives twenty-five hundred dollars plus eligibility for up to one thousand dollars in project support. Applicants must be pursuing a College of Arts and Sciences major, hold at least a 3.0 GPA, and have completed fewer than sixty credit hours at Loyola. Applications open February 1 and are due March 1 through LUROP using the published USRE application form.
