Full-time undergraduate or graduate students at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Engineering who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, protected/refugee-status holders, or international students, are in good academic standing, demonstrate exceptional hands-on technical skills, and seek to develop leadership skills by working part-time or full-time during the academic year on the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Engineering Design management team (or one of its design spaces) may apply. Leaving the position early can reduce or revoke the award.
Amount varies; awarded twice a year. Apply directly to the Faculty Coordinator in Entrepreneurship and Innovation with a two-page CV and a one-page cover letter naming the posted position and highlighting relevant leadership experience. Deadlines are August 15 and December 15; open positions are emailed to Faculty of Engineering students at least one week before each deadline.

Funds women's health research scholars at the master's, doctoral, and postdoctoral levels. The program is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care to attract and retain women's health scholars in Ontario. Award values and research allowances vary by level: master's awards are $25,000 plus a $1,000 research allowance; doctoral awards are $35,000 plus $2,000; postdoctoral awards are $50,000 plus $5,000. For undergraduate international students entering first year in any undergraduate degree at the University of Calgary in the upcoming fall term who have satisfied the university's English Language Proficiency requirement, pay international tuition fees, and are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents. Selection is based on academic merit. Two scholarships of $20,000 are offered annually. The award is renewable in the second, third, and fourth years if recipients achieve a GPA of 2.60 or more over a minimum of 24.00 units in the previous fall and winter terms and continue to pay international differential tuition as an international student.
