Bruno Petzold Memorial Scholarship in Buddhism and Japanese Studies

For a UBC Vancouver student majoring in Japanese or Asian Area Studies who has an interest in Buddhism.

A $4,000 scholarship. Awarded on the recommendation of the Department of Asian Studies; no separate application.

Endowed by Mrs. Liesel Petzold in honour of her father-in-law, Dr. Bruno Petzold (1873-1949), who served as a professor at Tokyo Daiichi Koto Gakko (now Tokyo University at Komaba).
