About this scholarship
Last-dollar scholarship covering flat-rate in-state tuition and mandatory fees for up to eight consecutive fall and spring semesters for first-year, first-time Michigan residents with financial need. Eligible households have adjusted gross income of fifty thousand dollars or less and net assets under seventy-five thousand dollars. No separate application is required, but students must complete and verify the FAFSA by July 1, participate in WMU financial literacy training, accept all eligible federal and state grants, and maintain satisfactory academic progress. The award applies to twelve to fifteen credit hours per semester and stacks after other gift aid excluding loans and work-study.
