"Broad Horizons" Scholarship for High School Juniors

Current ANN members in good standing for at least one year with a minimum of two years of neonatal practice experience, who have not received an ANN scholarship within the past five years and are professionally active neonatal nurses, may apply for funding to attend the fall National Neonatal Nurses Conference. Award value covers conference attendance and varies. Application deadline is July 1 annually.

Scholarships360 exclusive award for U.S. high school seniors in the graduating class of 2027, including homeschoolers, planning to enroll in community college, career training, or a four-year university in fall 2027. Applicants write up to 250 words about a meaningful activity or project from the last two years. Selection considers essay quality, academics, financial need, and Scholarships360 platform activity. One $1,000 winner; apply on Scholarships360 by Jun 30, 2027.

Unigo awards $1,500 to one U.S. student age 14 or older who is enrolled or will enroll in an accredited postsecondary program. Applicants describe a moment they would redo in 250 words or fewer via Unigo's online application. Selection weighs writing quality, creativity, and originality. Funds are paid to the winner's accredited college, university, or trade school.

National patriotic essay program open to U.S. school-age children in grades 6 through 12, including public, private, parochial, and home-schooled students as well as youth groups. Department first-place essays advance to national judging; national first-place winners receive a plaque and gift card, and 9th-grade national winners may receive an all-expense-paid trip to the Spirit of America youth conference at Freedoms Foundation in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. Word limits vary by grade. Entries must be postmarked to the National Programs Department by July 1.
