About this scholarship
Canadian citizens and permanent residents entering a full-time research-based master's or doctoral program at UBC Okanagan are eligible for this provincial scholarship.
The scholarship is valued at $17,500. One BCGS is awarded through the annual Indigenous Graduate Fellowship competition.
No additional application is required; all applicants who submit a complete admission application by the deadline for their admission period are considered, and faculties nominate recipients to the College of Graduate Studies. Priority is given to students who complete their applications by January 31.
