Open to UBC Vancouver graduate students undertaking research relevant to management of the UBC Malcolm Knapp Research Forest.
Two $500 scholarships endowed in memory of Dr. Braham G. Griffith by Dr. J. Harry G. Smith support forestry research. Professor Griffith pioneered several long-term studies at the Malcolm Knapp Research Forest, including growth and yield plots and open growth trees.
Awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Forestry in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. There is no separate student application.
