About this scholarship
Merit scholarships awarded to selected Blair School of Music applicants based on an excellent audition and strong academic application materials submitted for Vanderbilt undergraduate admission. There is no separate scholarship essay or application; Blair applicants who pass prescreening and complete the audition process are automatically considered for a music merit nomination. Awards are renewable through four years of undergraduate study when recipients maintain satisfactory academic performance in Blair and the university. Financial need is not a factor unless otherwise specified for a particular award.
