Bill Davison Memorial Prize

Bachelor of Education (Secondary) students in language and literacy education at UBC's Vancouver campus are eligible for this prize. A $600 prize is awarded to an outstanding student. There is no separate application; the award is made on the recommendation of the Department of Language and Literacy Education.

The prize was endowed by friends, family, and colleagues in memory of Bill Davison (1943-2004), an English instructor at UBC who left a profound legacy through his commitment to inspiring student teachers to bring language and literature into their classrooms.
