About this scholarship
Domestic UBC Okanagan undergraduates who self-identify as Black, are entering an undergraduate program directly from secondary school or transferring from another post-secondary institution, meet admission requirements, and demonstrate financial need may apply. Recipients are academically qualified and would not be able to attend UBC without financial assistance. Leadership, community service, and extracurricular achievement are also considered.
Awards are up to $20,000 and, subject to continued academic standing, renew for up to three further years or until the first undergraduate degree is obtained, whichever comes first.
Submit the UBC admission application and the UBC Entrance Award Application selecting Beyond Tomorrow by the December deadline. Awards are adjudicated by Enrolment Services.
