Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons who self-identify as Black, demonstrate financial need, meet UBC admissions requirements, and are entering a direct-entry undergraduate program from high school or another post-secondary institution without a prior degree.
One-time and renewable awards of up to $80,000 are available through the Beyond Tomorrow Scholars Program. Apply via the UBC Entrance Award Application with the UBC admission application. Materials include a Description of Circumstance (maximum 1,000 words), a Parent/Guardian Form when applicable, and a Reference Form.
