About this scholarship

Beginning and intermediate hardingfele students attending the HFAA annual Summer Workshop may apply. Applicants need prior bowed-string experience and the ability to learn by ear. HFAA membership is not required. Awardees must be over age 18 at the start of the workshop.

Award amounts vary. Scholarships cover 100% of workshop tuition and meals; housing is not included.
