About this scholarship
High school seniors, college students, or trade-school students may apply for the Beirut Veterans of America Scholarship by January 31.
Awards of $1,000 are offered; the number of recipients varies. Applicants complete an online form with an essay on the October 23, 1983 Marine Barracks attack in Beirut, including its historical impact, plus a personal statement on how the scholarship supports their goals.
BVA membership is not required but may receive additional consideration. The scholarship honors U.S. service members and supports students pursuing educational and career goals.
