Becky Tarbotton Memorial Scholarship

For a second-year graduate student in UBC's School of Community and Regional Planning (SCARP) in the Faculty of Applied Science who demonstrates exceptional leadership and commitment in environmental and social justice.

A $6,200 endowed scholarship is available. It is made on the recommendation of SCARP in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. Apply through SCARP internal awards; the existing listing asks for a CV and an essay of up to 1,000 words.

The Tarbotton family and friends established the endowment in memory of Rebecca (Becky) Tarbotton, a SCARP alumna who dedicated her career to protecting the environment and defending human rights.
