High school sophomores and above, including college and graduate students, may enter Cedar Education Lending's Because College is Expensive Scholarship random drawing.

One winner receives $500 per cycle. Four deadlines occur each year on March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31, with a winner chosen by the 15th of the following month.
