Barb Hart Harris Thunderbird Women’s Field Hockey Award

Outstanding members of the UBC Vancouver Thunderbirds Women's Field Hockey team who have demonstrated leadership may be considered.

One or more awards of varying amounts may range from $500 each up to the maximum allowed under athletic association regulations, funded through an endowment from Barb Hart Harris (B.A. 1957, M.Ed.). Selection is made on the recommendation of the Head Coach of the Women's Field Hockey team and the Athletics Awards Committee; there is no separate application.

Barb Harris represented Canada at the 1959 and 1963 Women's Field Hockey World Championships and was inducted into the Field Hockey Canada Hall of Fame in 2020.
