About this scholarship
Canadian citizens or permanent residents entering first-year undergraduate study at the University of Toronto from a Canadian secondary school may be considered for the Bank of Montreal National Scholarship through U of T's National Scholarship Program. Scholars show superior academics, original and creative thought, broad achievement, and school or community involvement. The program covers tuition, incidental, and residence fees for up to four years; about 12 National Scholars are selected annually. BMO Financial Group is the founding supporter.
Each Canadian high school may nominate one student via the National Book Award; nominated students then submit the National Scholarship application.
