Babs Burggraf Award in Creative Writing

York University fourth-year students majoring or minoring in creative writing with proven talent in short story writing may receive this award. Faculty nominate eligible students who have completed at least 84 credits. Recipients must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons, Ontario residents, and demonstrate financial need.

One award of $3,000 is offered in the winter term.

Complete a FAAS profile with attention to the financial section; faculty nominate students who have submitted short stories as part of their academic work.
