About this scholarship
The BA/MD Presidential Scholarship supports students admitted to Rutgers–Newark's competitive seven-year BA/MD program with Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Recipients complete three years of undergraduate coursework in the School of Arts and Sciences–Newark before enrolling at NJMS in year four. The scholarship covers in-state tuition, room, and board annually during the three undergraduate years and does not follow students into medical school. Recipients must live on campus and maintain a 3.4 GPA while completing 28 degree credits per year.
