Students in the UBC Faculty of Forestry studying fire science may receive this scholarship.

The award is $1,650, funded through an endowment established by Bruce Blackwell, RPF, RP Bio, founder of BA Blackwell & Associates. Preference goes to graduate students. If no eligible graduate students are available, the award may go to fourth-year undergraduates with a demonstrated interest in fire science.

Recipients are selected on faculty recommendation. For graduate students, the Faculty consults with Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
