Open to outstanding graduate students in the UBC School of Nursing.
The fellowship provides $4,100 from an endowment established by B. Ann Hilton (B.S.N. 1968, M.S.N., Ph.D.), who joined UBC as an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing in 1974, was promoted to Full Professor, and retired in 2005 as Professor Emerita. Her research focused on how individuals and families cope with life-threatening and chronic illnesses.
Recipients are selected on the recommendation of the School of Nursing in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. There is no separate student application.
