About this scholarship
The Award for Excellence Transfer Scholarship provides $4,000 per year to new Grand Valley State University transfer students who have completed at least 12 college credit hours and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at application review. Recipients must enroll full time, maintain satisfactory academic progress, and may renew for two additional consecutive years for a total value of $12,000. Complete admissions applications are due by July 1 for fall admission or November 1 for winter admission.
