About this scholarship
Partnership scholarship providing $5,000 annually to selected SDSU undergraduate students who are enrolled members of federally recognized tribes and pursuing a degree in a health care field. Established in 2018 as part of the Wokini Initiative, the award is renewable for up to five years. Recipients receive Wokini programming support including academic, personal, health, and financial wellness resources. Selection is competitive among Wokini-eligible students in health-related majors at SDSU Brookings.
