AvaCare Medical Scholarship

U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are high school seniors or enrolled college students with a minimum 3.0 GPA may apply if they are pursuing a medical field such as therapy, nursing, medicine, nutrition, lab science, dentistry, or health law. Preference is given to students with a physical disability.

The award is $1,000.

Applicants submit an original project (writing up to 350 words, video up to 1.5 minutes, or an image with description) about an inspiring act of kindness, plus a transcript.
