About this scholarship
The George Fox Associate-to-Bachelor's Beacon Transfer Scholarship provides a two-year full-tuition award for first-generation students and students from underserved populations who completed an associate degree at an Oregon or Washington community college. Each year twelve to fourteen scholars are selected through an application with short essays, interview, and letter of intent after acceptance. Scholars participate in cohort support meetings and transitional programming designed to ensure academic success. Recipients must pursue a first bachelor's degree full time and may receive the scholarship for up to eight semesters. Beacon scholars are not eligible for other institutional scholarships or grants.
