About this scholarship

Canadian high school students nominated for the National Book Award who complete the University of Toronto National Scholarship application and are named runners-up (not selected as National Scholars) receive the Arbor Scholarship.

Up to about 10 Arbor Scholars are named annually. Recipients receive $7,500 in the first year and $1,500 per year for years two through four of undergraduate study at U of T. Consideration is through the National Scholarship Program application only.
