About this scholarship
Students in their third or fourth year of the UBC M.D. program who have shown outstanding academic achievement and demonstrated service to the community may be considered.
Three awards of $2,200 each are available. Recipients are chosen on the recommendation of the Faculty of Medicine. There is no separate application.
The awards were established in loving memory of Antonio Minicucci by his wife, Iolanda Giuseppina. The couple immigrated to Canada in 1957 and wanted to leave a legacy supporting deserving medical students.
