Ann Hawson Memorial Prize in Language Education

Graduate students in Language Education at UBC's Vancouver campus are eligible for this prize. A $500 prize is awarded to a student who has achieved high standing in Language Education. There is no separate application; the award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Education.

The prize was endowed by friends and family in memory of Ann Hawson (Ph.D. in Language and Literacy Education, 1997), who passed away in 1998.
