About this scholarship
The Andrew T. Weaver Memorial Scholarship supports University of Alaska Fairbanks students enrolled in any natural resources degree program who pursue scholarly interests outside their major to broaden intellectual growth. Recipients are selected from applicants who complete the UAF general scholarship application in AWARDED by the published deadline and supply the supplemental answer required for this fund. Awards are merit-based within the department and depend on available endowment earnings each cycle. Continuing and incoming students in eligible NRE programs may apply annually when the scholarship cycle opens.
