About this scholarship
University of Waterloo English majors. Two annual prizes of up to $500 each: one for the best literary essay submitted in a 300- or 400-level English class in the past calendar year, and one for the best rhetoric or professional-communication document from a 300- or 400-level English class in the same period.
Faculty nominate student work; students do not apply directly.
The prizes honour local journalist and Waterloo alumnus Andrew James Dugan, BA '90.
