About this scholarship

Graduate students studying cetacean behavior and/or conservation in natural environments. Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate program and active Animal Behavior Society members (ASAB members may be eligible after contacting the ABS office).

Up to two awards of up to $2,000 each support field research on endangered populations or critical cetacean behavioral biology problems. Funds cannot be used for laboratory research. Apply through the ABS online grant system.
