The American Legion Smith Howard Post 93 Scholarship awards $2,500 annually to one senior Army ROTC cadet at Widener University who demonstrates excellence in academics, leadership, and military service. The scholarship recognizes outstanding Dauntless Battalion cadets approaching commissioning in their final undergraduate year. Selection is managed through Widener's Department of Military Science in coordination with the American Legion post.
