About this scholarship

The Alphie Level Scholarship awards one thousand five hundred dollars per year for up to four years to Nevada resident freshmen at the University of Nevada, Reno who qualify through the published unweighted GPA and ACT or SAT score matrix for the Alphie tier. Students must start fall twenty twenty-six, pursue a first bachelor's degree in person with fifteen credits each fall and spring, enroll by June fifteenth, and submit complete admissions materials plus FAFSA or Institutional Methodology and the MyNEVADA scholarship application by February fifteenth. Transfer students cannot receive these in-state renewable awards. Continuing eligibility requires Nevada residency, federal SAP, fifteen credits per semester, and a two point eight cumulative UNR GPA from the second year.
