Open to an outstanding UBC Faculty of Education student whose teaching practicum is in early childhood education (K-3).

The award is a $600 scholarship given by pupils, parents, students, colleagues, friends, and relatives in memory of Alice V. Borden (1908-1971), Assistant Professor of Education at UBC who taught and practised pre-school education from 1958 to 1971.
