About this scholarship

Academically talented first-time, full-time residential freshmen entering a baccalaureate program at Alfred State who attended high school outside New York State may receive up to $10,950 per year through the Scholars Award for out-of-state students.

Award value depends on academic strength and funding availability. No separate scholarship application is required. Preference goes to students accepted by March 15. Continued eligibility requires a 2.0 GPA each semester, continuous full-time enrollment, and on-campus residency.

Alfred State typically awards one scholarship per student, applying the highest-value award for which you qualify.
