New students entering any SAIT diploma program in the Fall semester may apply. Candidates must be Alberta residents who demonstrate financial need and academic achievement, attended their last year of high school in Alberta, and relocated more than 100 km to attend SAIT. Recipients must not hold a prior post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree.
One entrance award of $1,250 is granted for the Fall semester.

Funds women's health research scholars at the master's, doctoral, and postdoctoral levels. The program is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care to attract and retain women's health scholars in Ontario. Award values and research allowances vary by level: master's awards are $25,000 plus a $1,000 research allowance; doctoral awards are $35,000 plus $2,000; postdoctoral awards are $50,000 plus $5,000. Submit required documents in a single PDF to Toronto Metropolitan University's graduate studies office for internal adjudication before forwarding to the Council of Ontario Universities.
For undergraduate international students entering first year in any undergraduate degree at the University of Calgary in the upcoming fall term who have satisfied the university's English Language Proficiency requirement, pay international tuition fees, and are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents. Selection is based on academic merit. Two scholarships of $20,000 are offered annually. The award is renewable in the second, third, and fourth years if recipients achieve a GPA of 2.60 or more over a minimum of 24.00 units in the previous fall and winter terms and continue to pay international differential tuition as an international student.
