About this scholarship

The Alan S. Tetelman 1958 Fellowships support original undergraduate STEM research conducted outside the United States by enrolled Yale College sophomores and juniors. Awards fund roughly ten weeks of summer research with a foreign principal investigator; prior research experience at Yale or elsewhere is expected. Structured internship or coursework programs are ineligible. Applications require a research proposal, transcript, CV, a letter from the foreign mentor, and a Yale faculty reference, submitted through the Student Grants Database by February 12 annually.
