Al Atkinson & Ted James Bursary

Douglas College students enrolled in Vocational Education and Skills Training (VEST) programs who face financial need or barriers to education and employment may apply through the college bursary portal.

The bursary amount varies. One award is available each year.

The fund was established in honour of former VP Educational Services Al Atkinson and his colleague Ted James, who spent decades supporting educationally disadvantaged students at Douglas College.
