About this scholarship

For undergraduate students completing their final year in a BSc in Geological Sciences or Geophysics at UBC Vancouver, with preference for field experience and/or a focus on mineral exploration and/or geochemistry.

One prize of $5,600 honors Dr. Aaro Aho, UBC geological engineering graduate and Yukon exploration partner of endowment donor Gordon Davis. Together with prospector Alan Kulan, they helped discover and develop the Anvil Mine.

The Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences recommends recipients. No separate application.
