Agnes Varis Scholarship in SXGN

University of Guelph students registered in the Sexualities, Genders, and Social Change (SXGN) major of the B.A. program who completed SXGN*3010 Experiential Learning in Sexualities and Genders: Transforming Community in the previous academic year. Canadian citizens, permanent residents, protected persons, and non-Canadian students may be considered.

One award of $1,750 is provided in the fall; the recipient must be registered to receive it. No application is required. Selection is based on the highest grade in SXGN*3010; ties are broken by cumulative average.

Established by Dr. Agnes Varis, founder and president of Agar Chemicals, for students with a passion for advancing education for women, including cis and trans women, marginalized genders, non-binary, and gender non-conforming people.
