Second- or third-year JD students in the University of Calgary Faculty of Law who are involved with the Student Legal Assistance program are eligible. Selection requires satisfactory academic standing (minimum GPA of 2.60), with preference for students who also demonstrate involvement in the student law community or law-related volunteerism beyond SLA.
One award of up to $1,400 is offered annually.
